We do not collect contact details on this site

There is no lead form on these pages. We do not ask for — and this website does not store — your name, email address, mailing address, date of birth, Social Security number, or any insurance policy details. The only action available on the page is a telephone call that you choose to place.

Information collected automatically

• Approximate location. Our hosting provider derives an approximate city, region, and postal code from your IP address. We use it only to display a city name in the page headline. It is not precise location data and we do not store it in a customer record.
• Advertising click identifiers. If you arrived from an ad, the link may carry identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, or wbraid, along with campaign, ad group, keyword, match type, and device parameters.
• Device and browsing data. IP address, browser type, screen size, referring URL, page visited, and timestamps.
• Interaction data. Whether you advanced past the qualifying question and whether you clicked the call button.

Call tracking

The telephone number shown on these pages is a tracking number supplied by our call-analytics provider. The number displayed may differ between visitors so that a call can be attributed to the advertisement that produced it. When you place a call we and our provider receive your telephone number, the time and duration of the call, and the advertising identifiers associated with your visit.

Calls are answered by a third-party licensed insurance agent or agency, not by RateShield. That agent may record or monitor the call and will handle any information you provide during it under their own privacy policy. Please ask the agent for their policy before sharing sensitive information.

Cookies and similar technologies

These pages set the following first- and third-party identifiers:

• Click-attribution cookie (rtkclickid-store) — set by our click-tracking provider to connect an advertisement click to a resulting phone call.
• Advertising cookie (_fbp) — set by a Meta measurement library loaded by our click-tracking provider.
• Call-attribution storage — our call provider stores the assigned tracking number in your browser so the same number is shown throughout your visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from calling or from receiving a quote.

How information is used and shared

• To display a relevant headline and connect your call to a licensed agent.
• To measure advertising performance and attribute calls to the campaigns that generated them.
